Most of WIAW

I neglected to photograph every crumb (let’s face it – y’all have seen bananas before), but I’m still checking in for another WIAW.  I’m having the same breakfast and lunch most all week, and the snacks are pretty similar.  Anyway… here we go!

Breakfast: ugly breakfast quinoa (I prepped this Sunday: 4 servings quinoa, 1 bell pepper and one onion sautéed in 1 TBS oil, added 5 TBS salsa, divided among 5 containers. Each morning I add one egg and one egg white and cook in the microwave.)

Snack: banana and spoon of pb

Lunch: Morningstar Farms black bean burger, sandwich thin, and salad (I ate the burger first because it smelled so good and was immediately disappointed in the remainder of my sad looking lunch.  Must save best for last!)

Snack: Quest protein bar followed by decaf pumpkin spice tea

Dinner: beef n’ bean chili with a few too many unpictured crackers (Ethan and I visited my parents for a chili night – perfect for the rainy weather.)

Aaaaaaand since I’m prepping this up on Tuesday night, I’m off to hit the hay.  Yawn!

  • Do you food prep on Sundays?  If so, what meal(s) do you usually prep?

  1. But I haven’t seen YOUR banana. Okay… That just sounds creepy. Sorry 😆 I don’t have a day where I do my food prep, but I do make sure I always have bigger batches of things like applesauce, rice, chicken, and roasted veggies hanging around my fridge.

  2. I’m not good with meal prepping, but I am good about making extra servings of dinner and then packing them for lunch! Does that count? 😉

  3. Yes, I do meal prep on Sunday. I’ll make chicken salad, granola bars, breakfast bars, rice or quinoa, chicken, veggies, etc. Meal prepping definitely makes life easier.

  4. I always have good intentions of meal prepping but I never do. I always say I’m going to start, but don’t. I guess I just have to deal with the fact that I’m not a meal prepper! 😉

  5. I’m awful with meal prep…one of these days. I might roast a squash or something, but that’s pretty much it. I’ll fix that eventually 😉

  6. Ooooh girl I am so with you on saving the best for last! I always do that with my meals! Whichever component I’m most excited for definitely gets saved until the end! 🙂

  7. I used my first slow cooker meal this morning since the baby arrived. We’ve had company for the past 3 weeks so I didn’t have to break into my freezer meals. I need to start back with the WIAW posts, I can just never remember to photograph a whole day of meals:)

  8. I’m so bad with meal prepping! But I def try! I always have fresh greens/fruits on hand though, so that is awesome 😉

    Mmmmm questbars!

  9. What we have in the agenda for the week determines how much I meal prep. With starting to work again full-time soon, I’ll definitely be prepping more on Sundays!

  10. Nice job prepping! Some weeks I am really good at it but others I just lose the time!

The lunch looks so yummy! Want something similar for my morning snack right now hehe x

  12. Haha I keep saying that about the bananas, but I always forget to picture it because I eat it so quickly!
