‘Twas a marvelous (#MIMM) weekend here. How about you? Hopefully it was good!
On Friday, my parents took Kevin, Ethan, and I to dinner at Del Frisco’s. It’s a nice restaurant, so I was especially nervous about Ethan’s behavior.
Luckily, he was a little prince and didn’t fuss a bit, from the salad course to the dessert. About that dessert… yum! I enjoyed my first taste of bread pudding, and I can tell ya – it won’t be the last!
I made it to the gym for spin class and a lower body workout Saturday morning. I really pushed myself, and it felt great. Yup… my butt is still sore. I recovered that night with pizza, wine, and standup comedy. (A healthy dinner was planned, but pizza won out. It happens…)
I tried to get back on the healthy train on Sunday. Though I didn’t make time for a workout, I had church time, nap time, and cleaning time before cooking food for the week.
Lots of food prep was going on, and I have a feeling it will be totally worth it. Luckily Ethan napped a good bit on Sunday, which helped tremendously. Fingers crossed he’ll nap well again today!
