FIAW

Today’s WIAW is actually the Fiber I Ate Wednesday (FIAW). I didn’t really plan for things to be so fiberous, but I guess it just works out like that when you’re trying to up your veggies! As always, be sure to check out Peas & Crayons for other blogger eats n’ treats.

wiawWhen I woke up in the morning, I went for a 3-mile walk and completed my Tracy Anderson month-six DVD (45 minutes). Except for some itchy legs during the walk, which weren’t as bad as this weekend, it felt pretty good!

Pre-workout: rice cake n’ peanut butter

rice cakePost-workout: Greek yogurt parfait (In hindsight, the cereal may have been a bad choice.)

parfaitSnack: chia bar (extra omegas for baby!)

chiaLunch: wrap (hummus, bell pepper, broccoli slaw) and a kiwi

lunchSnack: microwave mug cake! Go make one… now. I used this vegan recipe, and it was great.

Other Snack: 1/2 a pack of these (Kev wanted to walk before dinner, and I needed something to last me until dinner!)

nature valleyDinner: sweet potato with broccoli and cauliflower (roasted in olive oil and some soy sauce)

dinnerDessert: chocolate ice cream (shocker?!?!)

  1. The best thing I ate yesterday was a handful of Jelly Bellies… I’m obsessed with the buttered popcorn flavoured ones haha.

  3. FIAW? I like it ;). Don’t tell my dad, though, as he’s convinced I’m eating too much of those nice little fibre gems.
    With a currently limited choice of foods I’d say the frozen caramel dessert was my favourite from yesterday.

  4. My favorite salad at a restaurant – it was roasted red pepper, arugula, avocado, chicken, dates, edamame beans with a lemon dressing soo, so good!

  5. The cappuccino coconut ice cream with a sprinkle of chocolate and peanut butter chips was by far, the best thing I ate all day ;-) So good!

  7. Everything looks good, I miss eating sweet potatoes whenever I want them! I would be hungry w/your eats..the all look great but I would still be hungry!! Must be all the running I’m doing….I’m like a food pit – lol

    Need to try that microwave cake! I’m all about the easy vegan recipes. Best thing I ate recently…hmm. Nothing too interesting probably the roasted kabocha squash I made. It’s just so gosh darn tasty.

  15. Speaking of fiber, have you tried the Clif Luna Fiber bars? I just ate the peanut butter strawberry flavor today and LOVED it!
