Get this – yesterday I was craving cookies. Then pizza. Pizza cookies? Hmmm…. that’s about when I decided I should probably just drink my water and get back to work. In short, I was a hungry beast yesterday (not the kind of “beast mode” I was going for…). I woke up hungry, and the munchies remained all.freaking.day.
Breakfast = protein oats with half a banana
Snack = half a banana and a hard boiled egg
Lunch = whole wheat pasta, kale, and sauce (better than it looks!)
Snack = I was going to have a protein shake with blueberries, but I was too hungry for that. Instead, I had a pack of this Marathon Mix and the blueberries a bit later. (On a side note, check out the size of those berries!)
Appetizer = a couple Light Wasa crackers (dinner took foreverrrrrr)
Dinner = Dinner took a long time to cook but it wasn’t worth the effort. The cabbage n’ rice casserole I made was bland. Really bland.
I was still hungry (surprise), so I paired it up with another hard boiled egg. Check out the other WIAW eats HERE.

Egg-cellent. I went through an egg kick but think I overdid it. They are so easy.
Anytime you cook for an hour and your recipe comes out flat it’s a total bummer. happened with me an bake mac n cheese. Ugh.

Oh man you are preaching to the choir! I do that a lot.. I HATE it when I spend a lot of time making something and it tastes horrible.. really puts me in a bad mood! ha

I seem to be absolutely insatiable these days. And visions of pizza and chocolate have been constantly dancing in my head. I’m trying to squash them with veggies but sometimes you just have to give in.

that happened to me tonight girl. BUT so is life right? Every meal cant be amazing. I love boiled eggs – made a big batch tonight

I hate it when a meal turns out really blah! I’ve definitely had that happen to me before. When that happens I just try to improve the flavour with either garlic, salt, soy sauce, or hummus haha.
Also your lunch looks really good!
