This isn’t much of a WIAW. I didn’t stick to a healthy diet, but more importantly, I didn’t take very pretty pics. I didn’t fail at everything though – I managed to take pics of what I drank. (shocker) So – in short, this has changed to What I Drank Wednesday.

Here’s a brief bit about the food. (You can find the muffin recipe here.)
Yup, that sums it up for Tuesday… well, except for this. I got out of work a little early for the holiday (by the way, happy Independence Day), and I popped one of these. It’s Leinenkugel’s Sunswet Wheat. Due to the holiday, Tuesday was like a Friday, and Friday = Beer.
This is a tasty wheat beer that I just love on a hot day. I think it’s the mix of spice and citrus (especially orange peel) that really makes it refreshing. I don’t plan to have any brews today, so I’m glad I got in two good ones yesterday. Two? Yeah, I also had one Dos Equis Amber with my nacho dinner. Deeeeeelish!
Happy 4th of July!

I LOVE that beer! The summer season always has such good microbrews to come out…

Good beer here is sadly lacking. Those muffins look spectacular but what is Chobani yogurt? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it.

It’s just a brand of Greek yogurt. I can have a bit of sugar, but it’s quite tasty!

I’ll shoot you straight, I hate that beer.
BUT that being said, I respect the hell out of what L-kugel does for getting folks to drink new/interesting beers. AND their shandy totally turned me onto the idea of shandys (shandies?). ANYWHO, happy 4th, may there be many more tasty brews in your long weekend future!!

Ha – thanks for telling it like it is! (Kevin isn’t a fan either.)
Cheers!

Happy 4th! This is a day when drinking is important

I tried a new drink for summer, Raspberry Twisted Tea. At 5% alcohol, it isn’t your granny’s iced tea. Speaking of ice…if poured over ice, it does VERY well. Would be great for these hot days!
