I published a personal post last night about breastfeeding and why I was attempting to be dairy-free. If you’re interested in that sorta’ thing, feel free to check it out here. If not, read on for the yum stuff! Thanks Jenn for hosting another WIAW party!
Lunch: short on time so grabbed a bakery pumpkin chocolate chip muffin (When I originally planned to go dairy-free to detect a possible milk protein allergy in Ethan, I thought I’d just have to give up yogurt, ice cream, glasses of milk, and the usual suspects, but halfway through the muffin, I realized that perhaps I should forgo baked goods, chocolate, etc. Hmmmm… whoops???)
Now that I’m back on dairy, I can have more of these babies! ThinkThin kindly sent me these bars to sample and to give away. I accidentally tried one forgetting about the dairy issue last week. Whoops again!
I selected the creamy peanut butter flavor. PB and chocolate, sign me up! The downsides: you have to like that typical protein bar flavor to like these, and they’re 240 calories each. However, they’ve got 0g sugar, 20g protein, and are gluten-free. Woohoo! They’ll be handy when I don’t have time for a real meal – ie: instead of a fat- and sugar-bomb of a lunch I had today.
Enough of what I think, why don’t you try them yourself? I’m giving away a box to a lucky reader. Enter by doing one or all of the following (leave a separate comment for each) by Friday the 29th.
