Happy What I Ate Wednesday (#WIAW)! As always, thanks to Jenn for hosting the weekly eat-up link-up.
Yesterday started off with a workout (back, biceps, and a swim) though I was moping around and really lacking motivation. Perhaps I got up on the wrong side of the bed, which is entirely possible since I had to pee three times that night. Ha, #pregnantgirlproblems
No worries – the day got better. Much better. I received some good news, was moderately productive, and went for a stroll with Kevin after he got home from work. ‘Twas a good day after all, and my good food didn’t hurt either.
Breakfast: pre-gym rice cake with almond butter, post-gym grapefruit, Good Belly juice, decaf coffee, and two eggs with a little melted colby jack cheese
Snack: chocolate shake (Designer Whey Sustained Energy, frozen banana, skim milk)
Dinner: Cuban beef picadillo via Taste of Home
Dessert: ice cream! My grocery store’s all-natural ice cream was half-off this week, and I noticed this new seasonal treat. I was skeptical, but oooooh buddy am I glad I went for it. This is definitely my find of the season. Scoot over pumpkin – apple’s busting in!
