Hello All! I feel like I kinda’ ripped you guys off on yesterday’s WIAW post. It was short and not particularly creative.
I enjoy reading What I Ate Wednesday (WIAW) posts because I often find healthy meal inspiration, packable lunch ideas, etc. on other blogs. I offered none of those things yesterday! ha
In order to redeem myself and bring a little more to the table (no pun intended), here’s a taste of what I actually ate on Wednesday (and am eating most all week).
Breakfast: TJ’s ww bagel thin, light muenster cheese, egg, and strawberries
Snack: TJ’s Greek yogurt and one sliced strawberry for texture
Lunch: ww pasta, kale, sauce, and a little leftover eggplant from Monday’s dinner
Snack: Odwalla bar to combat a sugar craving (These bars are tasty, but I wouldn’t buy them. They’re 200 cals and only have 3g protein. They’re a bit too carby for snack.)
Snack: 1/2 frozen banana, unsweetened almond milk, and chocolate Designer Whey Sustained Energy (more on this tomorrow… perhaps more for my readers too, wink wink)
Dinner: cobb salad with lettuce, light shredded cheese, bacon, avocado, corn, cucumber, hard boiled egg, and “natural” ranch dressing (soooo yummy!)
Dessert: my beloved grocery store brand of organic chocolate ice cream
