Sometimes you feel like a nut; sometimes you don’t.
I felt a bit like a workout nut on Friday. I was really banging out my shoulders with high-rep pyramid sets while working my abs for active rest. It felt pretty good! Another regular told me I was “lookin’ jacked.” Saaawheeeeeet! I may not be trying to get totally “jacked,” but I was happy my hard work is paying off.
Of course, then came Saturday. I should have worked out first thing in the morning, but I didn’t. Kevin and I met a guy who wanted to buy our boat, and sadly, the sale occurred at the exact same time as my favorite spin class.
Figures. After running a few errands in the rain on the way home, we stopped into Panera to warm up a bit.
You can imagine how I didn’t exactly feel like working out after all that bread and French onion soup! So I skipped. Like I said, sometimes you don’t. Jillian was there waiting for me Sunday morning before Kevin was even out of the bed. Get ‘er done.
Side note… anyone tried these babies yet? Ohmahgaw, y’all…. so good! Picked one up at TJ’s yesterday for 69 cents.

I don’t recall the name of the one I did, but there are a lot of circuits in it! It’s the 55-minute one on BeFit’s YouTube channel. (Loooove that it’s free!)

I had to be a little more flexible this weekend too, while we hosted guests. I got my spin class in but skipped the weight circuits and cut down my long run. I’m tapering this week, so I’m not going to worry about it.

I ALWAYS feel like a nut!!! It’s odd that I do not eat nuts, so clearly the saying, you are what you eat doesn’t always apply! LOL!!! I work out every single day, NO excuses
Hmmm, good food lately… Well, I am ALWAYS obsessed with salmon salmon and spaghetti squash, but that ain’t so new in my life!

OMG I now have the Mounds/Almond Joy song stuck in my head! I had to be flexible this weekend too since we were traveling home and then really didn’t feel like working out the other day as we just tried to settle back in at home.
