Happy Valentine’s Day! I figured a “Things I’m Lovin” post would be quite appropriate for Vday. As you can see, even my pajamas are celebrating. Yeah, those are St. Patty’s socks with Valentine’s pants, but hey, it isn’t like this is my favorite holiday or anything.
In fact, even though I haven’t been a single lady for quite some time, I still can’t stand this holiday. Oh well, like I always say, I’ll take just about any excuse to celebrate and be festive, so here are the things I’m loving, both big n’ small.
- Stoneyfield Farm Greek Yogurt: Normally I only go for plain yogurt to avoid added sugar, but I’ve been craving sweets like a champ lately. I figured this is still a better option than a pint of Ben & Jerry’s, right? Plus, not only is it organic, it’s also even more delicious than I imagined!
- My Kitties: Of course I’ve got to include my kitties! They’ve been such sweethearts lately. Well, they refuse to eat the turkey food I bought for them, which set me back $20, but they’re worth it. For the record, can anyone tell me how chicken cardboard tastes better than turkey cardboard?
- Morning Workouts: My new workout plan has Wednesday as a rest day. That sounded fine at first, but I was going bonkers yesterday. I did this 20-min yoga video, the dishes, and the laundry before work, and I even had time for a little scripture reading. After all of that, I still didn’t feel all that accomplished. I think I’ll have to schedule a walk or run next week!
- My Valentine: Kevin obviously gets a shout out for being my Valentine, but he also deserves recognition for the new job he started this week. Way to go Kev! Love ya.
- What things are you loving this Valentine’s Day?

I’m definitely laughing because I said the exact same thing on my blog post today; “even though I’m not single, I still hate Valentine’s Day!”
This Valentine’s Day I’m loving new workouts (running!) and ice cream and chocolates (see my post, I’m obsessed)

Oikos has a caramel flavour?! We don’t get that one in Canada! I bet it’s amazing.
Lately I’m loving the sunny weather, kiwis, and banana bread from work.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

I’m with you… I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day either. (And I’m not single either!) Just too much pressure. My husband does things for me year round, and that’s all that matters. I like the spin on the day of what other things in life we love.
Cheers~

Single or not, I can’t hate on Valentine’s… Any day to get a little more excited about is a pretty good day in my books. I definitely don’t think that flowers, chocolates, surprises, and special dates should be limited to one day though… Valentine’s should be a year long thing

I’m with you, it’s an annoying holiday. I really don’t have any plans to celebrate it, but I am loving coffee and good books lately

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m loving DARK chocolate . . . and was surprised with a 90% dark chocolate bar with my V-day card this morning. Yay!

I’m loving Kevin, too!
I’m really digging my training right now. Miles are racking up, event though I’m tired, but feeling good.

Ha, good one. Good luck with your training!

Ah! That yogurt sounds so awesome. I haven’t seen that flavour here yet, but I love the key lime one. Happy Vday love!

I’m always happy to hear there are many of us who can’t stand this “holiday.” We are going out tomorrow night, but not because it’s V-day.
Congrats to Kevin and his new job!
