Good morning! I hope your weekend was as fabulous as mine. Fabulous though it was, it was also quite cheesy. Nope – no pun here. It was literally filled with lots of cheese.
Friday – I squeezed in a workout before heading to work (Halloween socks and all), and later that evening, Kev & I enjoyed a date night at home. Good wine, salad, cheese fondue, and a blazing fire make my “Eat In Month” challenge seem very manageable.
Saturday – I wanted to run, but my foot didn’t. Kevin kindly walked with me instead, but I was pretty bummed about the run… or lack thereof. (More on that tomorrow) We also had a couple of my colleagues over for dinner. Lasagna and more wine were definite crowd pleasers!
I think these little babies were crowd pleasers too. I attempted to copy something I saw in a Godiva store window, and they came out really well.
Sunday – Sunday was typical but pleasant in that reliable and predictable kind of way. Church, grocery store, another walk with the hubs, and lots of cooking… the norm. By the way, that pic is of the cauliflower curry bowl I made for lunch this week; I can’t wait to dig into it!
I guess that sums it up, cheeeeese n’ all. ***If you haven’t entered my Sportline giveaway yet, there’s still time!***
- Are your Sundays as boring as mine?
- Did you squeeze in any exercise this weekend?

My foot has been hurting when I run lately too. I think I need new shoes. Ugh.
Love all the CHEEEEEESE!

Those dark chocolate berry cups look amazing!
Yum… I got 2 workouts in this weekend – 1 Ab RipperX dvd and 1 Tracy Anderson Mat workout dvd. – I figured out how to balance out my cast weight by strapping a ankle weight on the other leg!

My Sunday was super boring. But I sort of planned it that way. I’ve been on major detox from the holidays… which includes a lot of me hanging out in sweatpants during the weekends…

My Sunday’s are always filled wit cleaning the house, grocery shopping, walking for exercise, and cooking! Sometimes laundry, too…yikes!
Looks like your Friday night and Saturday were fun!

I went spinning yesterday! My Sunday was nice and relaxed

My Sundays are definitely boring and predictable. Church, groceries, coffee with the boy, and dinner with the parents. Same old, same old, but there’s some comfort to it as well.

Sounds quite comforting to me.

I live for boring Sundays! They are the best!
Perfect way to end the weekend, and ease into the work-week. The curry cauliflower bowl looks delish. Hope your foot feels better soon!

Your cauliflower curry looks delicious! And fondue sounds so fun, too. Our Sundays are very similar. I like them quiet- one of my favorite days of the week!

Your Friday night dinner sounds amazing – it’s been too long since I’ve had any kind of fondue. Happy Monday! (blerg)

It was delish.

I refer to SUndays as my :get shit done” day. I go to the gym, do launrdy, hit 2-3 grocery stroes, and do my weekly food prep. Sounds boring, but I love the routine.

I’m a sucker for a good routine!
