Goodness knows I need to focus on my fitness! Wednesday was quite indulgent. Luckily the rest of the week has been fairly tame, which is good since I have two holiday parties this weekend. Later today, my office is going bowling, so there will be free pizza n’ beer. Tomorrow Kevin and I will attend our neighborhood shindig. Busy Busy Busy!
but not too busy for exercise
Monday was chest and triceps day. I also did some cardio, but I can’t remember what it was. Anyway – here’s the lifting part.
Tuesday was leg day. Wowzers. That wasn’t easy. I powered up with sets of around 15 reps and totally owned the leg press! Wednesday was a back and biceps routine. I’ll be sharing that next week if ya’ want it.
Yesterday morning, I did physical therapy exercises and this yoga video, which I enjoyed, and I went for a run later in the day.
Today I’ll be hitting the gym again for shoulders, abs, and whatever cardio strikes my fancy. Tomorrow I’ll complete another 3-mile run.
This will be my plan through the remainder of December and possibly a week or two into January.
Have a happy Friday!
- How have you been keeping busy at the gym/yoga studio/track/etc.?

Thanks for sharing the yoga toning video! I’m always on the hunt for a good at home yoga video to do when travelling and going to the studio isn’t an option.
I haven’t watched the entire 40-minutes of it, but will take your word that it is a good one:)
Have a great weekend!

I really liked it. Not too easy but still has a relaxing element.

Does basically walking a marathon around Vegas count as a workout? Because that’s all I’ve been managing to do these past few days, and I feel like my feet are going to fall off…

Heck yes it does, especially if you squeeze in some dancing.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the month and taking the time with PT. I’m back at it 100%, re-adjusting to the 2-a-day schedule with shorter workouts. And having fun – thanks to my month break!

I have been doing yoga once a week, and spinning a lotttt. With some runs thrown in the mix too. I have actually been very accountable with my workouts lately!! My eating has been wild so I have to be! HA!

I’m in between right now so I’m just having fun with what feels right-a limitless running, yoga, Barre, lifting, and cycling.

That yoga video looks great- I never make it to classes, and I should really incorporate more yoga at home. Enjoy your weekend!

When it’s cold outside, there’s nothing more I like than going to a hot yoga class!
