I had a much better run yesterday than I did Tuesday. Though it was pretty out yesterday morning, it was kind of creepy out too. I was happy to have a treadmill at my disposal. Of course, I was also happy to have my running skirt too. (Love this thing!)
This was my first run since I mentioned my foot issues. It was slow and steady, but that’s good for me!
Speaking of workouts… I created this Little Black Dress Workout to help you (and myself) get ready for holiday gatherings.
I know it seems a little early for little black dresses, but it’s good to be prepared. My department holiday party is this Saturday, and Kevin’s is next weekend. I guess I better get on it!
I did this workout Tuesday morning, and I hope you like it as much as I did. It’s LBD approved because it focuses on stability (great for high heels), arms & shoulders (great for strapless), and back & booty (depending on how much or how little you want to show). Wink!
I demonstrated the last move in the video clip. If you don’t have a medicine ball, you can do overhead triceps extensions with calf raises. That will be extra-good for those high heels. If you do have a medicine ball, it’s 3 extensions and 1 slam, repeated 4 times.
- Got any holiday plans on your calendar yet?

Ah the holiday parties… I consume so much more wine in the month of December…
Glad to hear the first run back was a good one! I’m crossing my fingers that our random warm streak will allow me to run outside once again!

Despite my love of beer, it’s wine and cookies for me. It really is the best time of the year! Ha

Awesome workout! I saw you guys talking about wine in earlier comment on the post, truthfully – Winter is the time I start drinking more beer. It’s the time for those yummy oatmeal imperials. Chocolate. Coffee. Mmmm.
