Hellooooo! This What I Ate Wednesday’s meals were all eaten in the comfort of my own home. Due to the Democratic National Convention
invading terrorizing sacking visiting my city (political affiliations aside, my city is a madhouse right now), Kevin and I are both working from home. Frankly, I couldn’t be happier about this situation. Not only am I avoiding my regular commute, I also get to spend more time with this girl.
Now, on with the eats…
Breakfast: rice cake (pre-run snack)
Second Breakfast: smoothie in a bowl (almond milk, frozen berries, vanilla protein, spinach) and a spoon of PB on the side
Lunch: Morningstar Farms black bean burger, quinoa, broccoli slaw, and salsa
Snack: insert chocolate craving here… chocolate Vitatop and a square of 85% dark chocolate
Dinner: paella!!! I made my 1st paella, and I’ll share the recipe tomorrow. I hope y’all like shrimp n’ scallops!
