Happy Birthday to the best hubby a woman could want. Thanks for being awesome.
He’s exactly one year and two weeks older than I am, so I for these two weeks, I get to call him an old man. I know… loving terms of endearment…
By the way – y’all know how I’ve raved about Sierra Nevada’s Southern Hemisphere Harvest before, right? It’s one of my favorite beers. The Foaming Head recently tweeted their video review. I found it both interesting and on-point, even the comment about larger craft breweries.
Cheers to beers and birthdays!
What would be your birthday beer or cake?
I’d pick this beer and more of these cheesecake bars, but not together…

Happy Birthday, hubs!
I’d probably take cake. My sweet tooth would be pissed, otherwise.

Beercake, haha!
The Foaming Head – are they hiring, lol.
Happy birthday to the man! And happy early birthday to you!

How about beer cake?! Seriously… I love a red wine cake.

I would pick ice cream cake. The little chocolate crunchy parts were my favorite part as a kid and I bet they still would be. For beer, I would pick this blueberry wheat beer I had at this small brew house in NH a few years ago. It was fabulous

Birthday beer? I’m not a huge beer drinker, but I do like the summer Shock Top. It’s lemony and WAY too easy to drink. There is a local hard cider here in town that I will probably consume this year.
Birthday cake would be red velvet or carrot most likely…covered up with ICE CREAM. [I'd much rather just have the ice cream...or a cream pie...mmmmm....]

I’m not a huge cake fan (the Southern lady in me prefers cobbler), but I can never turn down red velvet or carrot cake. It’s all about the buttercream!

Happy Birthday Kevin!
I like to try new things on my birthday, so i’d be searching for a beer I hadn’t tried yet and is more expensive than our usual purchase.

Did you know it was national IPA day too?! Lucky man. I hope y’all get to celebrate both!
