WIAW: The Homebody Party

Here’s a little fact about me.  I am a total homebody from Sunday-Thursday.  I don’t want to go out to eat.  I don’t want to meet up for happy hour (well… an occasional Thursday happy hour’s kinda’ nice).  All I want to do is eat a warm meal, pack my gym bag, prep my lunch, and throw on my pajamas.  Lucky for me, Jenn’s weekly blog-hop party doesn’t cut into my pajama time.

Breakfast = pre-gym rice cake & post-gym pumpkin protein oats with chia seeds

Snack 1 = apple

Snack 2 = Marathon Mix (unplanned but all 210 calories were so worth it)

I wanted to make spaghetti squash with turkey meat sauce, but when I saw the store was out of squash, I was lost and confused.  (Y’all know how I get without my store list.)  I just made turkey muffins last week, so I knew I had all the other ingredients already.

I guess my macros come to approximately (very very very approx) 1430 cal, 38 fat, 184 carb, 101 protein

  • What’s one meal or snack you’ve been loving lately?  Worth making repeatedly?

    Mmm that turkey muffin dinner looks delicious, as does that marathon mix!
    Lately I’ve been loving blackberries paired with cottage cheese and peanut butter– I honestly think I could eat that combo for every meal and be happy haha ;)

  4. I’ve been loving lately Banana Strawberry cream oatmeal, I’ve dah it for breakfast and as a snack for many days in a row!

  7. I feel ya, homebody is where it’s at! I have been making gnocchi far too often lately. I love the extra carbs for running and it’s so good!

  8. I’m definitely a homebody during those days as well! Delicious eats!

  10. I am the same way during the week. Then I feel guilty if I turn down invites… but no matter what I will ALWAYS get my workout in. :)

    Lately I am addicted to collard green wraps and protein puddings. Not together… but hmmmm…. ;)

  11. I haven’t really varied from my staple Kale Salad. It’s so easy to throw together a unique dressing and massage – easy side or base for lunch. That’s the most common for me right now! :)

  12. I’ve been eating fresh artichokes like it’s my job recently. With mayo for dipping, of course. I figure all the antioxidants and fiber in the artichoke cancel it out. :)

  13. those turkey muffins look fab! I just can’t eat enough zucchini pasta…seriously eat it almost everyday!

  14. Kombucha! I love it in the afternoon! It gives me that burst of energy & fills me up. It’s great paired with some homemade turkey jerky, in my opinion :)

  15. haha! i am EXACTLY the same way during the week. EXACTLY. i love eating my own food, getting a good night’s sleep, and being on my pjs in the couch.
