Thanks to all of you who entered the OXO giveaway. If you missed it yesterday, there’s still time to enter! I posted my Potatoes Au Gracias recipe with a little something in mind. By “a little something,” I actually mean a “huge freakin’ deal.”
Yes, I’m already thinking of Cinco de
Drinko Mayo. A gift has been bestowed upon us, my friends. St. Patrick’s Day was on a Saturday this year. Cinco de Mayo also falls on a Saturday, and there are 5 Saturdays in the month of June this year.
Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Live life to the fullest. I plan to squeeze in a lot of boating, perhaps a few mini getaways, and some Saturday workouts. Okay… that last one isn’t exactly “fun,” but that’s what’s on tap for the last 4 weeks of the LiveFit program.
I’ve been working out 6 days a week through Phase 2, and this week starts Phase 3. 8 weeks down – 4 to go. I can do this.
If you chose to attempt this program, keep in mind that it’s not for beginners. If you make it to Phase 3, wear cute clothes to the gym (or at least your less-ratty ones). I was doing jump squats, jump rope, and long jumps during my sets yesterday morning. When you do that kind of stuff, people will look at you. I think they’re jealous… or at least that’s what I told myself.
I do have a question for you guys though. LiveFit cardio for this week is described as:
30-second sprints on treadmill; Level 8; 30 seconds on/30 off; 30 minutes total
Would you hop to the sides of the treadmill during the down time, or would you slow to a walk? I think a walk would be a better workout, but it takes time getting up to speed again. Hmmmm… I’m confused.
- Anyway, I’m curious about your workouts as of late. What have you busy bodies been doing?
