I came off the detox cold turkey. No more crazy (and crazy-expensive) health foods here! I enjoyed a regular, good old-fashion, cold turkey sandwich on pumpernickel for lunch. And yes, it hit the spot.
I was upset that I told Kevin he could eat all the leftover turkey for lunch this week. He announced Wednesday night that he was sick of the turkey, and I announced I was sick of the detox. Therefore, the turkey was all mine. Muahaha!
I’m heading out to the gym now, and I’m pretty excited. It’s 5 a.m. on a Friday, and I’m excited to hit the gym? Yeah – it’s because I had a great workouts yesterday. (20 minutes elliptical, 30 hard minutes on the bike, a cool-down walk, and 15-20 minutes of core work) Oh, and I also wore Clemson gear to get ready for tomorrow’s championship game.
I’m also excited to hit the gym because Kevin’s company holiday party is tonight. I get to wear my sequin dress again, and the dress really shows off my arms. Curls for the girls husband.
- Big plans for the weekend?
- Favorite way to use leftover turkey?

I’m not sick of turkey yet either! I did see a recipe on the today show where they made healthy enchiladas out of leftover thanksgiving turkey, it looked so delicious
Happy Friday!

I’m running in a Santa Shuffle 5k tomorrow, in full elf costume! My husband is dressing as santa, it should be fun! I’m taking today off though (except for glow bowling tonight, but that doesn’t count as a workout) because my allergies are killlling me!

Sorry about the allergies. I want to see elf and Santa pics Monday!
