Is anyone else as sequin-crazy as I am? I keep seeing these sequin dresses everywhere, so I bought one of my own. Although I initially bought it for Kev’s company holiday party, I found a reason to squeeze another wear out of it.
Sparkles!
We went to the symphony again last night. We saw them perform Beethoven’s 5th. It was a really wonderful performance. Interesting Info: This was first played in Vienna in 1808. Isn’t it crazy how some things stand the test of time? Sorry Katy Perry – I don’t think we’ll be playing your tunes in 2202.
Half of My Dinner Before the Show
On my to-do list today is 1) rest (thank goodness for rest days), 2) hair (not yet telling you which color I’ve picked), and 3) pick up a few more things for Thanksgiving (about to drop my entire paycheck at Target). Oh… there’s also a Clemson game that “needs” watching.
Love the Caramelized Parts
Speaking of Thanksgiving, I created a Turkey Day Prep routine for you guys. When I posted a Halloween workout, I had requests for a Thanksgiving-inspired one, so here ya go!
Thanksgiving Prep Routine
-
Good Mornings (prepares you for multiple peers into the oven to check on the turkey)
-
Russian Twist with Weighted Plate (prepares you for passing the dishes at the table)
-
Cable or Resistance Band Rows (get ready to open the fridge/pantry/cabinets 1000000 times)
-
Plié Squat (hold a weight to prepare for lifting the turkey without hurting your back)
-
Resistance Band or Dumbbell Shadow Boxing (If Aunt Edith asks why your single, why you let yourself go, or why you burned the apple pie, you need to be ready.)
If you want to be the hostess with the mostess (who made up this phrase?!?!), do all 5 moves for 1 minute back-to-back. Rest as long as you need (approximately 30-60 seconds), and repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 circuits.
Let me know if you try the workout! Have a super weekend. ![]()

Haha love the workout descriptions!! Now if only there was an exercise that expanded your stomach for the day so you could eat more and then it would make it small again the day after thanksgiving

Today was my rest day and it felt oh so good! I needed it big time. Such a fan of sequins! I have a hot black sequin dress, that I need to wear again this winter, just cause it’s awesome. Hope you are having a good weekend and cannot wait to see the new hair color.

I want to see what color your hair will be! I’m sure it’s going to look wonderful either way. I literally could spend all my money at Target. Such a dangerous place!
