Oh Monday, why are you so cruel??? Before nose diving into the week, I’m going to take a minute to recap the weekend. I flew to Orlando after work for my grandfather’s wedding. (Yes… it sounds a little odd to me too.)
On Friday after the flight, there was a little of this, but not toooooo much…
On Saturday, Pop got hitched! Don’t they look happy? That makes me happy.
You know what else makes me happy? Clemson still being undefeated. “All I do is win, win, win no matter what…”
Woohoo! You know what else makes me happy? Celebrating the wedding and the win with Mom, Dad, Kevin, and a wall of beer. I enjoyed a Paulaner Oktoberfest and a Hobgoblin Brown Ale. Both beers were superb. [Nona Tap Room Orlando]
Want to know one more thing that makes me happy? (Sure… why not, right…) A great dinner!
This was our Sunday night dinner. It was totally unhealthy, but it tasted fabulous. You just can’t go wrong with Guinness braised beef cooked with butter, veggies, and BACON!
Kevin is kind enough to eat my healthy meals without complaint most of the time, so I thought he deserved a good man meal. Luckily, I pre-burned it off by squeezing in 5.38 miles yesterday afternoon.

You go girl with that “man meal”! We work hard and sometimes a man meal is just what a lady needs!
The best thing I did all weekend was re-connect with old friends, laugh hard, drink good beers, and eat lots of not so healthy food and not beat myself up over it. Life is too short not to have late night pizza and gossip with old college friends. HA! Happy Monday!

I went to the food & wine festival this weekend at Disney, pretty much everything I ate was divine however, the chocolate lava cake with guiness sauce was to die for. So. Good.

That man meal sounds yummy! My grandfather almost got married for a second time after 47 years with my grandma, then called it off and now is dating someone else. It’s weird.
